A nonprofit organization is an entity whose primary objective is not to generate economic profits for its members, founders or shareholders, but rather to fulfill a social, cultural, educational, religious or humanitarian mission. Instead of distributing financial benefits among owners, nonprofit organizations reinvest any excess income into activities that contribute to their cause or mission. Hearts in the Community is a non-profit organization that is born from the very heart of our people, with the deep conviction that we all deserve to live with dignity, respect, and hope. Our work is aimed at supporting the most vulnerable people in our society, paying special attention to those who, due to various circumstances, have been left on the sidelines: older adults, people facing mental health disorders, and other groups at risk.
Mission
Our mission is to provide comprehensive and humane support to low-income people, with a special focus on the most vulnerable groups in our community, such as the elderly, people with mental health disorders, and other at-risk groups. We work to improve their quality of life, providing them with access to basic services, emotional support, medical and psychological assistance, as well as opportunities for their development and well-being. Our work is guided by the values of solidarity, empathy, and respect for the dignity of each individual.
Vision
Our vision is to build a more inclusive, equitable and supportive community, where all people, regardless of their economic situation or vulnerability, can live with dignity, well-being and the opportunity to fully develop. We aspire to be a benchmark organization in supporting those most in need, inspiring deep and lasting social change through empathy, community collaboration and a commitment to improving the lives of those who need it most.
